Who am I ?
Who knows, maybe we’ve already crossed paths in another life, or a double of myself in a multiverse. Sometimes I turn on an old computer to remind myself of the good old days, the era of CRTs and the hiss of capacitors. Depending on the line you’re on, we probably already know each other without realizing it. In any case, nice to meet you.
I’m passionate about science, humanities, social studies, computer science, and geopolitics. Things aren’t always easy, but I strive to maintain digital independence, far away from the prevailing hype. I host and manage my entire personal infrastructure using free, automated solutions. In an era where tensions are polarizing, where Europe raises an authoritarian shield surrounded by increasingly radicalized countries, the only remaining option is digital self‑defence-through technology and mass education.
Yeah, I’m deeply anti‑DRM and opposed to intellectual property. My opinions aren’t necessarily appreciated by the majority. These positions have led me to leave traditional platforms and join more left-libertarian and freedom‑focused communities. I don’t hate money, work, or capitalism. That said, everything should be done with moderation and nuance, without a market apocalypse.
My hobby is therefore to contribute as much as I can to educating people about privacy issues, personal‑data concerns, and mass surveillance. The rest of my time I spend doing technical work on my many servers, on Linux, or on open‑source and free projects.
Commitment
Learning, contributing, and banding together may be the only way to get by. So I’ve chosen to take part in free‑software projects and make my skills available. You can find all of my modest contributions on the projects page.
I enjoy writing, so you’ll find articles and guides that help people with digital erasure or cover topics such as free‑software alternatives. When I want to tackle more complex tasks, I take care of maintaining my proxies.
I also do hacking and modding of consoles or devices of all kinds. Yes, not everyone knows how to run exploits, and people should have the right to use whatever system they want on their hardware. After all, who hasn’t dreamed of running NetBSD on a Wii U? If you need help with this, feel free to contact me.
My Work
My background has taken me into security as well as studies in psychology and profiling. For several years I worked as a network engineer and a Level‑3 SOC analyst. Currently I’m employed by a large organization as a Purple Security Engineer. The rest of my time is devoted to cyber‑threat intelligence within a CTI (Cyber Threat Intelligence) team. I’m looking to explore new roles—perhaps DevSecOps or positions that are more focused on development and production.
The Website
This is where I’ll also post on Mastodon—probably with longer texts and more developed theses. The goal is to centralize resources and documentation and make them available. I’ve lost my LinkedIn account and now only have Mastodon as a social network, so I really don’t have much to gain. In any case, if you want to ask me questions, I’m not truly anonymous and I don’t bite, so I’ll gladly help if I can. No influencer‑driven content, no donation links, no Buy‑Me‑a‑Coffee, no nonsense. Maybe we’ll share a Monster Energy drink sometime.
